Quality policy

Lobelia, a Catalan company dedicated to the observation of the earth to provide solutions to fight
the climate emergency, has decided to implement a quality management system based on the ISO
9001:2015 standard. With the implementation of this standard, it will improve the service it provides to its customers,
in the project development processes, meeting their needs, increasing their satisfaction, and
complying with current legal regulations.
The Management of Lobelia approaches the quality system as a way of organizing the operation of
Lobelia based on basic pillars such as the quality of its products, customer satisfaction and the
continuous improvement of the system's effectiveness. To this end, Lobelia’s Quality Management
System is based on:
- Involving and holding accountable all employees in achieving quality and the continuous
- improvement process.
- Ensuring that all staff have the necessary resources and receive the required training to
- properly carry out their roles. Additionally, ensuring continuous employee motivation.
- Planning, executing, reviewing, and improving the management system, always considering
- the internal and external context of the company.
- Achieving the satisfaction of all our clients and stakeholders through the company’s
- commitment to meeting their expectations and needs.
- Complying with legal, regulatory, and product/service-specific requirements.
- Continuously improving both the production and service delivery processes, as well as the
- effectiveness of the quality management system.
- Paying maximum attention to technological developments and the improvements that new
- technologies and innovation offer us.
- Being committed to fighting climate change and environmental sustainability, from the
- development of products that help clients analyse, understand, and mitigate the effects of
- climate change, to reducing the company’s environmental impact.

Information security policy
LOBELIA EARTH S.L, company dedicated to Consultant of research projects of analysis and processing of earth observation data, has decided to implement an Information Security Management System based on the ISO 27001 standard with the aim of preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and protecting it from a wide group of threats.
This management system is intended to ensure the continuity of business lines, minimize damage, maximize return on investments and business opportunities and continuous improvement. The management of LOBELIA is aware that information is an asset that has a high value for the Organization and therefore requires extensive and adequate protection, and establishes the following as basic objectives, starting point and support for the objectives and principles of information security:
- The protection of personal data and people's privacy
- The safeguarding of the organization's records
- The protection of intellectual property rights
- The documentation of the information security policy
- The assignment of security responsibilities
- Education and training for information security
- The record of security incidents
- Business continuity management
- The management of changes that may occur in the company related to security
The management of LOBELIA, through the preparation and implementation of this Information Security Management System, acquires the following commitments:
- Develop products and services in accordance with legislative requirements, identifying the
- legislation applicable to the lines of business developed by the organization and included in the
- scope of the Information Security Management System.
- Establish and fulfil contractual requirements with interested parties.
- Define security training requirements and provide the necessary security training to stakeholders by
- establishing training plans.
- Prevent and detect viruses and other malicious software, by developing specific policies and
- establishing contractual agreements with specialized organizations.
- Manage business continuity, developing continuity plans in accordance with methodologies of
- recognized international prestige.
- Establish the consequences of violations of the security policy, which will be reflected in the
- contracts signed with interested parties, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Act at all times within the strictest professional ethics.
- Being committed to mitigating climate change by developing products and services to help clients
- analyse, understand, and mitigate the effects of climate change, as well as reducing the company’s
- environmental impact and promoting good sustainability practices.
This policy provides the framework of reference for the continuous improvement of the information security
system and for establishing and reviewing the objectives of the information system. It is communicated to
the entire Organization through the document manager installed in the organization intranet and public
website, and is reviewed annually for its adequacy and extraordinarily when special situations and/or
substantial changes occur in the System of Information Security Management.
